Wrench quenching heat treatment by high frequency induction hardening equipment

A wrench is a hand or power-operated tool used to grip or turn a bolt, nut, or other object. It needs to withstand huge friction during work. Therefore, the wrench is required to have high hardness, wear resistance and service life. For this reason, we often use high-frequency induction hardening equipment to quench and heat-treat the wrench.

Quenching, as we all know, is a heat treatment process in which the workpiece is heated to a certain temperature and then cooled rapidly, in order to improve the hardness and service life of the workpiece. High-frequency induction hardening equipment, which is produced by advanced IGBT modules, makes the heating efficiency of the equipment more than 90%, which saves 30-40% of electricity compared with traditional equipment. It uses almost no electricity when it is stopped, and can be used continuously for 24 hours. When performing quenching heat treatment on the wrench, it can regulate the surface hardened layer by adjusting the working frequency and power of the equipment as required. As a result, the martensite structure of the hardened layer is finer, and the hardness, strength and toughness are relatively high, which meets the needs of its work.

Now, our living environment is getting worse and worse, therefore, protecting the environment has become a crucial issue. When the high-frequency induction hardening equipment heats the workpiece, it will not generate noise and dust, and will not pollute the environment, which greatly improves the working environment of the workers and provides a strong guarantee for the health of the employees.
